The old idiom states that playwriting is rewriting. If you have completed a first draft of your play, then this intensive workshop can guide you through the critical steps of rewriting. This course focuses on craft issues such as structure, plot, dialogue, characterization, and more. Hands-on tools such as in-class exercises along with feedback from your peers and the instructor are provided to help you fully realize your script. This is a workshop in the truest sense of the word. Be prepared to share your suggested changes with the rest of the workshop. The first five sessions will focus on the rewriting process with the last session set aside for industry questions.
