Part I of a new Submitting Series:

Submitting is exhausting. It’s time-consuming. But it’s necessary. Even if it often feels mystical and ethereal. Together we'll demystify the submission process - and reframe why “rejection” is the wrong word. And we’ll explore how to think about artist statements and writing about your goals for an opportunity. Participants will leave with a foundation and examples to take with them into the upcoming submission cycle.

This is the class for you if you:

  • Want to ask questions about the submitting process
  • Are curious about how plays are selected
  • Hear some tips from a self-described "submitting playwright"

PostScript: Andrew Rosendorf's work has been produced or developed at La Jolla, MCC, KC Rep, Signature Theatre, the National New Play Network, American Theater Company, Nashville Rep, City Theatre, Geva Theatre, Actor’s Express, Curious Theatre Company, and Local Theater Company. He was a previous McKnight and Jerome Fellow at the Playwrights’ Center.
