Outside Paducah is a triptych of stories that captures the enduring struggles of both soldiers and their families in the aftermath of America’s wars in the 21st Century. These stories are rendered through the experiences of three different characters, each one forever altered by the repercussions of conflict: The Boy, The Father, and The Veteran.

Our Ghost - An eight year-old boy tries to make sense of the changes in his father, a sniper back home after a second tour in Iraq.

Cairo - A father whose life has been in a downward spiral since his son, a combat medic, returned from the Middle East.

Quittin’ Meth - A Veteran returning to his hometown to see old friends and confront the legacy of trauma that haunts him.
