Lisa D’Amour is a playwright and co-artistic director of PearlDamour, an OBIE-award winning interdisciplinary performance company.  Lisa’s plays have been produced in theaters throughout the U.S. and Europe, including on Broadway in Manhattan Theater Club’s Samuel J. Friedman Theater, Playwrights’ Horizons (NYC), Steppenwolf Theater (Chicago), The Wilma Theater (Philadelphia), Woolly Mammoth Theater (Washington D.C.), ArtSpot Productions, Southern Rep Theater (New Orleans) and The National Theater (London).  Her play Detroit was a finalist for both the 2011 Pulitizer Prize for Drama and Susan Smith Blackburn Prize. Lisa is a past recipient of Jerome and McKnight Fellowships from the Playwrights’ Center,  the Alpert Award for the Arts, the Steinberg Playwright Award, and the Doris Duke Performing Artist Award.  She is an Affiliated Writer of the Playwrights’ Center and a past resident playwright at New Dramatists.
