DESCRIPTION:

How to Build a Pitch: Creating a document that will help you sell your TV show. There are often two problems with writing a television pitch: getting started…and getting through it. This class will help you work through both of those problems. Bring in your idea for a TV show and we’ll create a pitch document using step-by- step writing exercises designed to help you generate and articulate your idea’s potential from start to finish. By the end of the class, you’ll have (writer’s cramp and) a rough draft of a pitch for your television series.

REQUIREMENTS:

Best for experienced playwrights. Knowledge of TV writing helpful but not required.
